I really love Heartlys work I find it fascinating how he distorts the face completely with these different face and body pieces and how it almost makes the person unrecognisable, and how the face and body corsets highlight areas of the face, but also blend in within the features almost as if the pieces have always been there. I think his images are great representations of body modification without actually changing the body for good and show design at its best making body modification not shocking but beautiful and captivating.
